The Quaker Meetinghouse in Burlington is far more than a place to stay. Our host, Dee, was welcoming, kind, loving, and joyful. She shared the history of the building and the town, and invited us into that history. We wish we had more time to learn from her, and to explore the town, which is historic and beautiful, especially the waterfront. In addition to the bunkrooms, you have access to meeting rooms, a game room, an entire dining hall and a commercial kitchen, as well as the front lawn and historic cemetery in the back of the building. Antique stores and eateries abound, and the riverline makes it easy for you to access Philadelphia, Trenton, and Atlantic City. Highly recommended for large groups interest in history and adventure! – Tree S.
