Bespoke celebrations can be yours at this historic Central NJ property.
You don’t have to be a Quaker to have your wedding ceremony and/or reception here. Wedding ceremonies and receptions of other faiths, that are non-denominational or same-sex are welcome in addition to weddings for Quakers. BYO officiant.

Inside, a 1783 solid wood Quaker meetingroom (place of worship) and a pillarless, hardwood floor hall with banquet tables and chairs. Your caterer will love the commercial kitchen.
All of the spaces here are undecorated. Decorate away!

Officiant
BYO officiant. Ceremonies of other faiths, that are non-denominational or same-sex are welcome in addition to weddings for Quakers.

Front Lawn
For ceremony, reception, or photos. The 1783 Meeting House (Quaker church) is the backdrop. Brick walls enclose the yard. Move inside to the 1783 Quaker Meetingroom (Quaker sanctuary) if it rains (no extra charge). Add musicians, arbor, chairs, high tops, tables, stage, band, or 40×80′ tent.
1783 Quaker Meetingroom (place of worship)
For ceremony. An unadorned, all-wood space with wooden benches (pews) with red cushions. Add decorations. Arrange benches forward-facing or in-the-round (Quaker style). Seat 200 guests.
Ockanickon Hall
For ceremony and/or reception. An unadorned, nearly square, pillar-less hall with hardwood floors, windows on two sides, air conditioning an acoustic ceiling. Round and rectangular tables, and padded chairs included. Add decorations, linens, and music. Seat 120 for dining.
More Spaces
Youth Recreation Room
Entertain youth with foosball and ping-pong, and at craft tables. Add crafts, games, pizza, movie and babysitter.
Hendrickson Room
Dress, wait or regroup in private. $ included.
Boardroom
Lay out your flowers for the wedding party. Stash your boxes for the decorations. $ included.
Dormitory
Stay the weekend and make it a family reunion! 88 beds, showers, Wi-Fi.
Receptions
Dining
Hire any caterer you want
Have it delivered, cook on site or go potluck. Commercial-grade and -capacity kitchen with cookware and serveware.
Alcohol permitted
Serve beer and wine, have a champagne toast, hire a licensed bartender or serve no alcohol at all. No minimums mean less expense for you.
Place Settings
White dishes, stainless-steel flatware and glasses. Elegant and eco-friendly. Rent with or without part(s) of kitchen.
Commercial Dishwasher
Washes a full rack of dishes in 53 seconds!

Decorations
As long as they leave no trace.
Tablecloths
Bring them with you or rent them from us. We can rent tablecloths, chair covers, napkins and sashes in a multitude of colors. Click here for info.
Tent
Rent a tent as big as 40×80′ for the front lawn. Add dining or entertainment.
Paintings, Sheers, Curtains
Replace ours with those of your theme, if you’d like to.
DJ
Hire any you’d like.
Audio Equipment
Mixer, amplifier, microphone and 2 Peavey speakers. Make your speeches or plug in your guitar, phone, tablet or laptop. $ included.
Visual Equipment
Digital projector and screen, LCD screen, and DVD player. Show pictures from your childhood, romance, engagement, bridal shower. $ included.
Pianos
We have two! Play at the ceremony and/or reception. $ included.
Clean Up
There is a security deposit for the clean up. If you choose to walk away at the end of the reception, we’ll keep it. If you fully clean up, we’ll refund it. Some have put the cleanup on their gift registry.
